Honors & Distinctions

Mr. Peterson has repeatedly been recognized as a Super Lawyer by Minnesota Law and Politics and Twin Cities Business Monthly where he has been named one of the top 40 mediators in the State of Minnesota.  He is one of only a handful of mediators who has been given this honor outside the Twin Cities area.  In addition, Mr. Peterson has been chosen by his peers as one of the best of the best in the Northland by Duluth Superior Magazine in litigation and mediations.

Personal Profile

Jeff was born in Virginia, Minnesota, in 1947.  Jeff and his wife, Nancy, have four adult children – Andrew, Keith, Tyler and Meghan, and six grandchildren.  He and Nancy reside on Lake Vermilion, near Tower, Minnesota.  Outside of the office, Jeff enjoys fishing, golf, and duck hunting, especially with his children and grandchildren.
